Congratulations again on the elk!!
I'm hopeful you get out before the collapse but I am more hopeful they can save the buisnessGlad for your resolution in the matter! Hope we can get through ours as well.
Have you talked with Dewayne?
I have not... yet. Based on the other thread he sounds more than a bit overwhelmed at the moment and my hides are only fairly recently out of the tannery so I'm not sure how much he can really tell me other than to confirm that everything is accounted for.
@tedthorn do you have information, that no one else seems to have, regarding his business is going to collapse? It maybe that Dennis fully recovers and is able to resume his business or not. But unless you know his medical condition and expected recovery, I would not be talking about empty a warehouse.
On a side note, reasonable medical probability is 51%.
@wesheltonj do you know any good Lawyers?
Any info anyone has would be appreciated ! My brother and I are at a total loss! It has been over a year and I don't think Dennis has even started our stuff.

Ted,
I am glad that you got your stuff, BUT please do not count Dennis out or cast doubts on his business. That is not nice to do to someone who suffered a heart attack and is in an ICU. You really know nothing about his business or his staff. FYI Jamie is Dennis's protege' and has been with him many years and is the one who does most of the finish work on all the mounts! He is very good.
My prayers are with you Dennis I hope the best for you.
Dwayne announced here just last week he would be leaving.
You keep saying that but it's incorrect.
Dwayne said he couldn't continue to assist additional customers or meet their requests as he didn't have the authority. You must have missed the first post where I corrected you on this.

Shortmag,
When I spoke to Dennis in July of 2017 he told me his back log was approximately 1 full year. Not sure what he told you or even if you asked. Our hides arrived at his shop July of 2018 (Sept. 2017 Safari in Zim.) and he told me in Jan of 2020 he was going to be starting on them in February, obviously a bit behind already. Now to be totally honest I did not really believe this, but I am in no huge hurry for the mounts and I'm willing to wait for a quality mount. I doubt your items are even in the rotation yet if he just got the stuff back recently. I feel bad for the spot Dennis and his men are in right now and will give him as much time as he needs. If he cannot restart things then I will settle up on the tannery fees and move on. It's only taxidermy and my life is not going to change when a few mount hang on my walls.
I will keep the faith and hope Dennis can return to his normal self, but most of all that he returns to his family.
