Who is your favorite hunting outfitter in South Africa or Namibia?

There are many outfitters on this site that will do you a good job. The reason I am writing is the little things that just make your experience so much so much better. This was our first Safari. When I contacted Liam Urry Safari's I had a lot of questions. He said he was coming to the states in a month to do a show. If I would like he would fly to Utah and meet with me. He brought with him a few tapes that we all enjoyed. Then spent a lot of time with us answering a Lot of questions. When he left we all agreed this was the right place for us. It took a lot of stress off of us when we stepped off the plane and they were there to meet us. They took care of getting all of our guns cleared. We stayed 10 days 7 people 3 shooters. We ended up with 24 Beautiful trophy's. Most outfitters can and will do that. But it is the little things. Will they call you three days after you arrive home and tell you they found your boys wounded Blue Wildebeest. They took the head and furnished a new cape for it to the taxidermist. They had it in the crate with the rest of the trophy's at no charge. They took us to Pilanesberg Game Reserve for part of a day on the way to the lodge. Great place. They paid for all 7 of us. We took a break at midway into the safari to go to The Blue Hole the largest man made diamond mine. Then to the kimberley mall to let the lady's do some shopping. My point is at the end there were no hidden or extra charges. He payed for it all. When they took us to the airport it was not pull up to the curb and wave goodbye. They went inside and helped check in our guns and bags. They did not leave until we were boarding our plane. That's what I call above and beyond Great service. They are now updating there web site. Check it out. It tells the rest of the story. Take a look at the price list. Great prices. Liam Urry Safari's . Liam is the owner and PH. He is a good guy with great personality.

Just got back from a 12 day hunt at African Barefoot Safaris. Everything was top notch. Will post a full report in the next week or so

I've hunted with Ozondjahe in Namibia and Thormahlen and Cochran in South Africa. Great things to say about both. Headed to Zimbabwe in August to hunt with JWK for a leopard. I will say Ozondjahe had a great selection of plains game!!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
