I know it started to get up there. And right fully so like you said. It's amazing area. And large and wild. With great species too.I know it’s a premium Safariland area. I have always been curious what their Buffalo daily rates are to hunt there. I have hunted all around that concession. I really like the quality plains game opportunities.
It was my understanding as of now it’s only 2026.It’s my understanding after talking with Dalton that Dalton and York safari company has secured all the quota for Nyakasanga beginning 2026. I hunted there with CMS in 24 and am booked with D&Y for ‘26. While it’s a huge area there were no less than five groups ( including mine ) hunting during my ‘24 safari. Wasn’t a major problem but did interrupt a couple hunts. Would be interested if you guys have different info. Thanks
I have a hunt booked with D&Y for 26 also. My understanding is that they are going to build a new camp on the river. I doubt that they would do that if they only had quota for one year. The last time I talked with York it sounded as if all of the DG quota for next year is taken. They may be sharing with someone but I don't think so.It's still on CMS's website: http://www.cmsafaris.com/nyakasangarates.htm
When I was there, I was told by CMS they build and take down their camp every year per concession holder’s requirements. No permanent structures at all, no footprints that indicate anyone was there.…My understanding is that they are going to build a new camp on the river. Yes, that is true for CMS. It was a small entirely tented camp. When I was there, I was told by CMS they build and take down their camp every year per concession holder’s requirements. No permanent structures at all, no footprints that indicate anyone was there.
