Hi everyone!
So, I bought a bulk pack pf ammo and among all the 375hh mag, I got 40 rounds of these necked down bullets.
Can anybody tell me what caliber is this?
Basically is the same shell of the 375 hh mag but with a little proyectiles more similar to a 30-06 but shorter.
The silver bullet, to use as a reference is a 375hh mag 300gr solid federal

.300 H&H maybe?

.300 H&H maybe?
Maybe. Have never seen one in person, only online.
Isn’t it tiny?
I’ll some more research.
Once the mystery is shorted out I’ll do a give away.
Stay tuned to all the ones interested on these

The case looks like a 375 formed to 300 WBY prior to fire forming but that bullet, if fired in an actual Weatherby chamber would have exactly 1.2 miles before contacting the lands! Pull it down and mic it out.

I agree. Probably 300 Weatherby. Not enough taper in the case and shoulder for 300 H&H. They wouldn't fit in 300 H&H chamber. Also agree the bullet does not appear to be seated properly. Never shoot someone else's loads, especially if they look sloppy. Isn't there a way to fire form the case without shooting a bullet? 300 Weatherby case is 0.025" shorter than 375. It appears they were trimmed but should check it.

If OP is considering reselling, he should pull the bullets, punch out the primers, and sell brass and bullets separately.

@Tusker
What calibre is the projectile.
Looks like 8mm so could be an 8mm REM mag but I've never seen one in the flesh so just guessing.

@Ontario Hunter
Yes there's a way to fire form without a projectile.
I use unique shotgun powder, toilet paper and wax or hard soap to plug the case mouth.

Now that I can see a better picture, I can see that the shoulder is too.far forward and too sharp for the .300 H%H. So.maybe .300 Weatherby, as others have said.
I think you are correct. The shoulder is indeed wrong for .244 as well. Project just looks too small for .300. Maybe an illusion due to it being so short.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
