Where did you stay in Cape Town

how easy is it to get a private driver in Cape Town for say a day trip or a simple ride to the airport.

Usually we rent a car, if that’s not an option, we have used the following:

Most expensive - Carey Transport - black cars with professional drivers in nice cars

Cheapest - Uber - coin toss on quality of drivers and vehicle but for cash in hand you could get someone to drive you around for the day (I would probably pay half at the start and half at the end with a tip)

Middle - Tour driver - we have done this for vineyards as well as a general tour. I think usually 6-8 hours in a mini bus - comfortable but not luxury. We have booked based on top rated TripAdvisor and Toursbylocals
