Sorry Spike I still like the others better!

and these are original hand made kukris from Nepal. the longer one has a blade maybe a bit over half and inch thick and has serious weight to it, it is of a type used in meat markets by the butchers as well as for self defense, a bit like a bush african who carries his axe everywhere. the slightly smaller is one of the various shapes used by the Gurhkas when in military service with the British Army. they are both some of the sharpest knives i have ever come across when i got them. you can see (prob not on these photos) where the steel has been hand beaten during the making of the blades.

SPIKE,

I'M ALSO A GREAT BELIEVER IN MY NEPALESE KUKRI
as you can see here it has been slightly modified with a guard and also with its blesbuck skin cover over the sheath, and 2 specially handmade small knives
also with some other toys[cold steel boar spear and .38 derringer]

i do have some other ,more expensive bigger blades as well, but this kukri is a beast and after many years out in the bundu still nearly indestructible!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
