What Watch do you wear when you hunt?

AX
Maybe she has man sized wrists lol. I’m pretty sure she bought it gray market as well IIRC from the article “to pass down to her family”

Kudus to you if you got yours for MSRP
I did.

But what does it matter if she had the extra money to buy it not?

We as a people eat our own more than anything. Why would another human care what watch she wears. The constant calling out of anyone that’s had success is what’s tone deaf imo.

I find women wearing full size watches very sexy and classy
Please don’t take what I said as a personal attack on you or your watch. I simply like watches and that is my personal critique/opinion of what she chose to wear. She’s free to wear whatever she wants.

That makes sense. No worries.

I personally don’t wear them much, but like when my wife does! She wears her Apple Watch about 99% of the time.

Sacrilege! Don’t even get me started on smartwatches. (Don’t mind me just causing trouble in the watch thread again and I haven’t even had a drink today!)

Cheers.

I had the garmin instinct solar watch but returned it. GPS was difficult to use and drained battery quick and it just was a hassle and then had major issues with syncing. The software needs an update it's super outdated and a pain to get setup

I went back to my old fitbit tracker for sleep tracking, pulse, and step count which is my only need for a smart watch

iphone is much better gps device than any smart watch I have seen

Are you not wearing a watch at all when you hunt and using the iPhone as a watch and GPS?

Funny how we call these things "phones" and it's about the last thing they actually get used for. :ROFLMAO:

A pair of puttees over Jameson Courteneys and a Rolex Explorer on the wrist...
Not quite, but it is arriving this week.
The pith helmet here is a real gem of a find, a beautifully made example in elephant hide, which gives it the stiffness. My grandson seems to approve. Little does he know it will be his one day, and the Explorer too. He is mad about insects.
The puttees are Northern Rhodesia BSAP issue from the 1940's.

For everyday wear including hunting I wear a Seiko turtle with a nato strap. Sweat, blood, rain and mud don’t phase it. A 1971 Speedmaster is my other watch. While I have worn it on backcountry hunts in NZ I ghave now retired it from this kind of work.

There is a reason most soldiers wear G Shocks.
Yes and the reason is economics. Most enlisted soldiers don’t have the funds to buy expensive watches. What little funds they do have they’re going to spend on cars/trucks/motorcycles. G-Shocks are practical and economical. That’s the appeal and Casio has done an excellent job marketing their watches to the military/adventurer customer.

I’ve been a watch nerd since I was in my 20’s. I bought my first Rolex from the Kadena BX in 1991 when I was a GySgt stationed in Okinawa. It was a stainless Datejust and I paid $1700 for it. My buddies thought I was out of my mind for spending that much on a watch. I wore it diving the next day to little over 100ft. If it wasn’t waterproof I wanted to find out right away! I sold that watch about twenty years ago before the Rolex stupidity started. I sold it for what I paid for it.
