What Rifles Would Be Best In My Situation

I would go for a .375 H&H in a bolt, any good make that fits you well will do. you stated that it is a hunting course so I think you will be shooting allot of rounds... if you look at the cost of a double and the cost of the ammunition i think you are better off with a bolt in your case. If you get into it a bit more nothing stops you to buy a double later on in your career.

You have a point there! Quite jealous, I must say :) You must let me know when you touch down in jhb, I'd be happy to take you to a few less touristy places so you can really see what our amazing country is about, if you would like :)
Well wow thank you for the offer that sounds amazing im super interested :)

Who you doing your course with?

Who you doing your course with?
Currently I am looking at The Northern Cape Professional Hunting School for the 7 month specialist course with Mynhard Herholdt. I am open to all other schools, courses ,academy's, programs if anyone has advice!

Ehm... Not to be pedantic, but it's "Afrikaaans" and dutch and afrikaans really aren't all that similar. :)

:E Hmmm: glad to see you corrected yourself there in your same sentence @Alexandro Faria with the afrikaaans typo........;):E Big Grin:. and a dutch friend of mine says he has no problem understanding afrikaans when he hears it......

My bad! :P Indeed, you can understand, but you need to be pretty fluent in the language :) I don't think I'm making my point as a result of shoddy typing on my behalf :l If you're fluent in either language, it's relatively easy to understand the other, but if you're not, it's a lot harder to understand the other's language. Unless you say the words correctly, with the correct emphasis and pronunciation, it's very tough to understand. :)

I think you explained it excellently the second time around Alexandro Fario.
