4Stable sticks in Carbon. Super light and easy to pack on plane. I’m comfortable out to 300 yds. At 200 no problem hitting a 4” square most shots!!! These sticks make an average shooter like me a helluva lot better shot! Especially in wind.

Ive not tried the Blaser sticks or even seen them in person yet so cannot judge.

I’ve tried most others on the market and in my opinion viperflex are the best by quite a margin (which is just as well as they exceed the price of most others by quite a margin too)

I have tried the Blaser sticks and guided a couple of people who have used them. The big plus for them is the swivel function on the front end that allows you to 'track' moving animals. The downside would be that they are a bit noisy.

I wasn't tempted to switch from my ViperFlex sticks.

By the way, if you are using ViperFlex and hunting plains game (i.e. at longer ranges) it's worth looking at the 5th leg option. With the 5th leg stability is increased again exponentially and I have shot Grey Duiker sized deer out to 275 yards with them. They are also good for zeroing DG rifles off if you don't have a bench.

I was able to lay hands on the Blaser sticks for the first time this past August at Safari Outdoor in Pretoria. They had a lot of flex to the legs, more than I expected. I tried out the swivel option and it seemed to be an unnecessary addition when something more simple could be used. It also requires the non-shooting hand to swivel the device...when that hand should really be holding the forend of the rifle. Especially true if you happen to be shooting a DG cartridge.

In the end I felt reassured that I made a good decision with the Viper-Flex.

The thing I really like is that the Viper-Flex Pro To Go can be taken apart to be 26" to fit in a Pelican 1700 for traveling. If they are just collapsed and not taken apart, they are 32".

@shootist~ That looks to be about the same length as a Pelican 1750. Nice packing job to be able to take a full rifle slip with you. Do the items inside move much?

@BeeMaa - It's a Pelican Storm im3300 which is slightly bigger than the 1750. I bought it thinking I needed enough room for two scoped rifles - then took just one.

One section of foam - was removed allowing for a rifle in a thin soft case (or even two) to fit snugly. As shown, the lower end of the sticks could possibly move a little - easily fixed by adding something like the neck gator (in the ziploc bag), or a cleaning rag, etc., on top.

I used my 4 stable sticks on a moose hunt last month. They were light, balanced, quiet and easy to carry. Rock steady when waiting for a bull to come in. Also great as walking sticks through swamps, bogs and over brooks.
