What Line Of Work Are You In

I am a laboratory assistant in analytical chemistry, working at a university.
Apart from (trying to...) teaching students different subjects in chemistry, such as water analysis, surface technology, corrosion sciences and material sciences in general, we also do expertises and analysis of metals (mostly steel), their microstructure, or corrosion tests (to explain damages or accidents, to choose the proper material for a certain purpose or machine, or to justify a case of guarantee etc etc).

So, if anybody wants his favourite knife's blade analyzed, or it's hardness proved, or if you want to know why it's "stainless" (haha, we get everything to crumble to rust :)) steel did corrode nevertheless...
Send it to me!

Time for a revival:

I am a 5* Concession/Lodge manager in the Okavango Delta, Botswana and do freelance Professional Hunting when Iam home in the Eastern Cape South Africa. I have an honours degree in Wildlife Management and would LOVE a job as a full time professional hunter or game farm manager working on habitat rehabilitation and game breeding.
my wife and I have plans of establishing our own Hunting Outfitters in the Eastern Cape one day and sharing our beautiful environment with fellow hunters.

;)

I have been in the good service business for 27 years

Small business owner three fold, Concrete flatwork, African decals, and rental properties. Former Military and Law enforcement. Also use to play a bad ass Bass guitar...

Retired Police Officer (28 years).
Now, I'm in Oil Field Security.
Barney Fife of Prudhoe Bay.

Dairy Producer 31 years so far, I like to say I'm retiring in a couple years but I will never be completely out. House flipping very part time. Own some rental property we've accumulated over the years. Also a major investor in a couple other businesses.

After a 5 year career, retired from selling sweet corn roadside at age 13 and became a hog producer and corn farmer. Then also part time lumber jack and firewood salesman through high school (winters only)... Retired from those at age 20, worked road construction 2 months and that is the only real job I ever had but soon figured out I am un-employable and bought dairy cows. We still grow a couple thousand acres of corn but only for silage/forage to go towards feeding some of the cows.

hey, you all have real jobs. I just wait for the mistakes to happen then profit from the misery. Actually, do a lot of medical related litigation. I am most proud of the work we did to get universal therapy for children with autism. Suing the government almost wrecked me but some fights have to be fought.

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
