What Is Your Dream Rifle?

No classes to take at the College , this week . So plenty of time to think about rifles and hunting . What is each of your dream rifles to own ?

For me , it has got to be a Krieghoff side by side double rifle in 9.3x74 mm R ( Rimmed ) calibre . Box-lock , double triggers , automatic ejectors , 25 inch barrels . As much as I adore my .458 Winchester Magnum , I have always dreamt of hunting a marauding Royal Bengal tiger with a 9.3x74 mm R .
FG 42

I already own my dream rifle. Ruger No.1 A 7X57, Now I just need to get it restocked with a beautiful hunk of Walnut. Light, short, easy to negotiate in a blind or brush. Completely capable of cleanly taking plains game and elk or moose without punishing the shooter. It suits me

Since I already own something I love, I can tell you what my *next* dream rifle is:

Let's see who can identify it (pretty easy). My caliber of choice would be .450.

My problem remains every time I procure my dream rifle another comes along and reignites the smoldering embers. Gonna be awhile now as I start to recover AGAIN from this damn covid.
There's always another deal, another gun. If one isn't mindful about being content (talking to myself here), it's easy to develop a problem.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
