What Have You Killed with the 7x57

Remington Model 700 "Mountain Rifle." It's not the most accurate rifle in my arsenal, but has worked well enough within 200 M.


I shoot these, they make a nice holes in targets and are as accurate as my rifle.

The S&B 173 SBCE groups very well in my mauser 98. The long throat really like the heavier bullets.

My father has a Brno ZKK 602 in 7x57 that he has since passed down to me. Has served myself and my family incredibly well and has most likely taken over 500 plains game with. Everything ranging from impala, BWB, kudu, warthog, eland, and gemsbok. I’ve attached a photo of my first animal I hunted with it and another more recent.

I have a Zkk 600 in 7x57.
Shooted 3 roebucks with Nosler BT 140 grains and a wild boar with factory Brenneke 177 Tig.

A lot of elk have been taken with the 7x57 and 140 grain bullets. I'd want something heavier but it is a fine rifle for most hunting in the lower 48. I've never heard anyone who owned one that didn't like the rifle.
