What did you hunt this year?

A lovely couple of lists and surely some great memories were had!

In the past 18 months I've been twice and I'm heading back in May for another bite at the Apple.

-2 kudu
-11 impala
-1 warthog
-1 giraffe
-Cape buffalo
-steinbok
-duiker
-bushbuck
-waterbuck
-zebra
-2 hyena
-2 baboons
-hippo

A lot of doves, grouse, guineas and francs. Some nice tigerfish.

Most importantly, great memories, good friends, amazing food and lots of biltong!

Hoping for a leopard and eland hunt in the months to come, maybe a wildebeest and a klippie.

Zimbabwe is an amazing place. The joy on my camp friends faces as we prepped all that meat made their year. We're blessed people.

Great report Roan. You had a very nice year. I hunted with 3S Safaris this year I hunted with a friend that took 7 animals, I had a lost bag issue and only hunted 3 days and nabbed 4 but was very happy with my bag .
Nice Nyala
Warthog
Mtn. Reedbuck
Bushbuck
Got skunked on some very large Baboon but will be going back in 2017 or 2018

Take a kid hunting and you get to experience it all over again with new eyes.

Not to be out done. Opening day for Deer yesterday for this young lady.

Started with Red Fox tracking in the morning snow.

I was fortunate to do two hunts this year: South Africa and the Yukon.

The first was with my youngest daughter and we hunted the eastern cape with an AH sponsor, Game4Africa (the hunt was offered on AH). We took 9 PG. (2 Kudu, 2 Nyala, 2 Impala, Blesbok, Zebra and Eland. I think the Eland was the most memorable for me.

My second hunt was to the Yukon Territory in August, where I took a Dall Sheep while hunting with Dickson Outfitters.

So far a good year. Next year I am heading back to RSA to hunt plainsgame in Port Elizabeth with Leopard's Valley Safaris.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
