I AGREE WITH YOU. THE 458 LOTT IS WELL RECIEVED AND THE 460 IS NOT. AS SOON AS I REICIEVE MY 460 WBY FROM ART (HE IS SUPPOSE TO TAME IT DOWN WITH HIS COIL CHECK STOCK) I WILL TRY SHOOTING IT. IF I AM ABLE TO HANDLE IT THEN I WILL USE IT HERE ON MANY HOGS. WE HAVE HERDS OF WILD HOGS IN MY LEASE FOR ME TO GET USE TO SHOOTING THE 460. IF I CANNOT HANDLE THE 460 THEN I WOULD NEVER TAKE IT TO AFRICA. BUT IF I AM ABLE TO HANDLE IT I WILL BRING IT. IF I AM COMFORTABLE WITH A RIFLE AND I CAN SHOOT IT WELL I REALY DONT THINK THE PH'S CAN HAVE MUCH OBJECTION. I TALKED WITH MANY PH'S AT THE SAFARI CONVETIONS AND MANY STILL THINK THAT THE BULLETS IN A 460 WILL NOT HOLD UP. I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN TOLD THAT BY THEM. AS EVERYONE KNOWS WITH SWIFT AFRAME AND OTHER MODERN BULLETS THAT IS JUST NOT THE CASE. I ASKED SEVERAL WHY DIREDCTLY WHY NOT WEATHERBY. AND THEIR ANSWERS WERE THE CLIENT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE SUCH SEVERE RECOIL. AND THE BULLETS WILL NOT HOLD UP. WELL IF I AM UNABLE TO HANDLE THAT NEW 460 IT WILL BECOME A SAFE QUEEN AND I WILL REVERT TO MY 458 LOTT OR MY 416 REMMY. OR EVEN MY 378 WEATHERBY. I LOVE MY 378 WBY BUT I NEED A NEW STOCK. I USE TO SHOOT JACKRABBGITS ON THE RUN WITH IT. AND SQUIRRELS IN THE HEAD WITH IT. AND HOGS. NEVER EVER A PROBLEM WITH RECOIL AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PREVIOUS POSTS.
