You're right. Fat fingers on small keys.Shouldn’t that be 25-20? A25-35 would be too long for a 92’

I think that the 9.3x64 is a great cartridge, this wildcatted to 375 or 40 something x64 would be interesting. I know a little off topic.7x66 Vom Hofe Super Express.
And I'd take to the clinic my beloved 9,3x64, that is not doing too well...
@steve white - nothing but it’s like making a “Shoe” in size 10 & 7/8s —- Not really neededWhat's ailing the PRC?
It would be very interesting indeed!I think that the 9.3x64 is a great cartridge, this wildcatted to 375 or 40 something x64 would be interesting. I know a little off topic.
Have you ever used a 220 grain or 250 grain bullet in the 30-06?What I don't get is the need to go outside normal bullet weights with a cartridge. The 30-06 is best in my opinion with. 150 to 180g bullets. They make bullets above and below this range. Instead of making a cartridge something it isn't use a larger or smaller cartridge. I have always believed that a rifle shoul shoot one load well and that is it's load. I love the 30-06 and have four of them so just using it as an example.
Ha! Ha!No never a factory load , i do not understand why , maybe Hornady should and name it the 416 PRC !
No the heaviest I have used is a 200g partition and went back to 180s.if I need larger I will go to a 338Have you ever used a 220 grain or 250 grain bullet in the 30-06?
I’ve got a list somewhere, I know they definitely make 4bore as they are $55 each (Australian) . May need to email them and ask for a price

.303 British.
I am surprised that nobody from the former British Empire proposed it.
With two world wars and innumerable local conflicts under the belt, the old soldier doesn't deserve to fade away.
True Matt but very few if any rifles made in .303 in this day & age, (there are thousands out there lol) I think last we’re Ruger No1 & Uberti maybe still Uberti, unfortunately I hear both aren’t very accurate or have problems ?My 8-bore brass was made by Rocky Mountain Cartridge. The cases are well made but having another source of brass would be a good thing, so I'll send Bertram and email.
303 British is not even close to dead!
PPU, Hornady, Remington, Winchester, Federal, and S&B all still produce the cartridge. I found those with a quick search on MidwayUSA's website... I'm sure many more companies are making the cartridge.
wish that the older guns that they used could be brought back, at the prices that they originally sold for without any adjustments for inflation, We can only dream on that though.
