The belt was to my understanding simply an easy way to headspace, no more no less. Never heard of the .300H&H not being accurate. Ben Comfort won the Wimbledon Cup with it. I think too much is made of it.
You often hear that you can only get 2-3 loadings with the brass and it must be chucked. Nonsense! In every belted mag I have owned I have gotten many loadings before any sign of separation appears. In particular my .375 mag, it has never happened. Its all about setting the die right.
Someone mentioned something about the case slipping into the chamber after firing? Having a hard time envisioning what that means or how it happens. If someone could explain it that would be great. I mean where is it going to go?
