Well boys, what's your temperature like now?

-30° here last night, thank goodness it warmed up today and isn’t supposed to get below 0° tonight

We used to burn a lot of Hedge (AKA Osage orange in some parts) in wood burning stove that heated the old farm house I lived in growing up. It burned hot and slow and was the best wood we could use. But it crackled and sparked a lot, so we wouldn't use it for camp fires or any open flame applications.

I think I learned Tetris game best by stacking wood in the stove for maximum fill.

Growing up in Illinois we always had hedge. Real easy to turn a stove red with that stuff. Not to mention make yourself uncomfortably hor.

Pretty chilly here in Milwaukee.

About -1F today, -20F with wind chill.

The roof on my garage got damaged a couple weeks ago and I booked a repair.

Their scheduling person (probably sat in a nice cozy office with the thermostat set just so) set up the visit for today.

I felt bad for the poor repair guy, not gonna lie.

I don't think I'd have stuck it out.

This was our place in Talladega County, Alabama last week. It’s [emoji[emoji6]]’F here at the moment.

Middle Georgia got their share of snow last night. Our town is shut down, I-75 and 475 are closed due accidents from last night. It’s a mess here. My dogs were trying to figure out what this white stuff was. :ROFLMAO:

For you southerners, the thermometers cross at 42 below. -42 C = -42 F.
Time to get outside and fire off a few rounds from your .404 to check out it's functioning in the event you go on a musk ox hunt in the Arctic someday? LOL

Yep, and unfortunately I was out driving around (working) in it from Friday night through Tuesday morning. Wish I was in Florida or New Orleans............ wait, nevermind. LOL

Well, a rare occurrence! Snow on the ground in coastal SC for three days.
We got around five inches in Myrtle Beach and it still hasn't melted. The last time I remember snow sticking this long was the Christmas after Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
