Look at all the manufacturers that have moved to SOuth Dakota. Weatherby was considering moving to Missoula, Mt in the late 90’s but decided to stay put. There are several states that have serious pro gun/pro business attitudes and tax rates. MT, WY, SD and TX all open their arms to the firearms industry. Kimber already has their warranty people in MT. You still ship guns to Yonkers NY but all the RMA’s are issued from MT. I’d like to see all these anti gun states realize the lost revenue!
Those states that are anti-gun could care less if those industries move. To them it's all about "principle". It's what their voters want, tax base damage and job loss be damned.
