Was shocked at the animal on my list

Pigs have great hearing and tend to use the dark of night to move around...you need cover, water and food to set up the trap to get your pig...

I know a guy who has been on safari 5 times with a bushpig on the list. He still hasn't gotten his bushpig!

Graybird,
I think that he needs to hunt with the right people and it will happen. It takes a little bit of effort to get the bait station going, but once you have them on a schedule and coming in, its pork ribs! I'm heading out tomorrow to set up new station. Should be fun.

Best Regards

Possibly, but I think it has been more piss poor luck than anything.

Graybird, you are 100 percent correct. You need a whole lot of luck to bag one, and more. I am happy to say that we found some big tracks all around the bait station today. The pigs were there last night, so we have put up a game camera just to see what has been moving around. The type of tracks that make me want to put the .30 cal back and take something bigger....:)

Will post some pics as soon as I have them.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
