You could do the same on 300wm or 7rm. Very little rail work needed if any. 532 to 545 and a lot easier to find plus maybe cheaper.

Up for sale is a 1950 H&H magnum Model 70 action that I purchased in December of 2020 from Pre64win. The action is complete and was originally in a rifle chambered in 300 RUM, my plan was to build a 404 Jeffery out of it. Pre64 broke the rifle down and blueprinted the action before sending it...

That's exactly what I did about 5-6 years ago. I am not positive about this, but some of the other "RUM" calibers might work too.

There is a Stainless M70 in 300 RUM on GunBroker right now. I wished they would have made the RUM in the left hand models…I’ve had two Win Mags converted to RUMs and wouldn’t let just any gunsmith do it.

My 404 is on a mod 70 375HH. There are quite a few on here that also built with a .375HH. Just get a very competent gunsmith who has good experience on bid bore conversions.
