Wanted Ruger Super Redhawk In .480 Ruger

Well, if you happen to reload and want to get into it for him, I might sell you everything you need to do it except powder and primers.....Depends on what happens over the next few days
Nice thought, and I do. But Dad is in Michigan, I'm in Alaska. You can't mail ammo into or out of Alaska. So that doesn't add up in a lot of ways.

@Albert GRANT
Faults with my current Ruger SRH:
i. Cylinder throats oversize by about 3-4 thou
ii. Barrel groove diameter about 3 thou oversize.
iii Bore shows chattering marks from original machining, also tight spots and loose spots. (note: recently manufactured Rugers have probably fixed the barrel issue with in-house cold hammer formed barrels)
iv. Barrel not square to frame.
v. excessive flash gap.
vi Cylinder not square to either barrel or frame.
vii. Cylinder rotates eccentric ie wobbles.
viii. Cylinder not in proper alignment to forcing cone.
