I am in need of 404 Jeffery brass, new preferred. I have a new rifle in 404 Jefferey and all components except for brass cartridge cases. In fact, I had a backorder with RCC Brass for 404 Jeffery brass, but RCC Brass has filed for bankruptcy.

Thank you for your kind consideration of my request.

Never dawned on me, as a new member Kenya was un aware of how to use PM

I would just order some Bertram if they don't have it in stock, he is great to deal with and its really good quality. Bullets are hard to find as well.

Bertram is shipping out a new batch next week supposedly. $590/100 pieces of brass.

I'm thankful that I have some 90-ish pieces of new brass, and another 100 or so that are fired an unknown number of times.

In fact I still (since the rifle was built a few years ago) use the same set of ... 30-40 (?) cases that came with the barrel from the seller. They were not new then, and have gotten a few additional firings since. Annealed them a few times, but not needed to trim them much.

That brass sure seems to have a long life, either because a) I load them too lightly, or b) I don't shoot enough! :-)

I'm guessing that the low working pressure is the reason. Brass for 6.5x55 or even 30-06 wears out a lot faster.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
