Hello everyone, I am trying to plan a 3 generation safari trip with my dad and 2 of my sons. None of us have ever been to Africa but we would love to go while my dad can still get around well. One of my boys and my dad both shoot left handed, so I am looking for a .375 or something large around that for my dad and son to share. I have a .375 CZ550 right handed I plan to share with my other son.
If anyone has a lefty they know of for sale or are willing to part with one, please let me know.
Thank you!

Here you go I have one for sale at this thread.

How much time and patience do you have? There's a couple 375 H&Hs in lefty on Gunbroker right now and they show up periodically. If it doesn't have to be a 375 H&H then the 375 Ruger has good possibilities. As a lefty I went with that since Ruger got smart and made their M77 African in left-handed from day one so there's more than a few out there. Anything larger is going to be tough to find. It happens, but it's not common.

Good luck.

I am not in a hurry as we are not going in ‘22, but hoping for a trip in Sept of ‘23. Getting this rifle is just a part of the planning right now, and budgeting of course!
I was looking at the .375 Rugers as they are considerably less spend, but I have never shot one. I assume those would qualify for a minimum for DG as they are large enough though.

That is a beauty of a gun! Out of the range I am looking for, but thanks for sharing.

Tanks rifle is a sweet setup.

Budget lefty .375 is the Ruger Guide or if you can get ahold of a Zastava left hand Mauser. The stocks are a little weird but they are good rifles.

I’d pass on Savage for Africa, even though they are generally accurate as Hell. I’ve seen that ball and spring held extractor fly. No good on something you need a .375 for.

Thanks for that info, I have seen some of the Savages but not a lot of talk around them. I was not sure about a Zastava but have seen one or two come up on GB.

The 375 Ruger qualifies just fine. My buffalo never knew the difference, dropping quickly to my 375 Ruger. In the same length barrel it's a hair faster than the H&H.

Keep an eye out here and Gunbroker for the next few months, I bet you find something you like in either caliber. Then track down the ammo or components if you reload.

Browning A Bolt ? I picked one up for small money a few (4) years ago. Sub $1000. Very accurate when I do my part

Are you selling the A bolt? My lefty son has an A bolt in 7mm REM Mag that he loves right now.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
