Wanted 404 Jeffery Ammo/Components

Just checked Hendershots. They have some 404J offerings with Hawk and Woodleigh bullets. Expensive, but available.

I was talking with a gunsmith about a site that appeared to be a scam that had Lapua brass for prices of a year ago- that I had ordered brass from but haven't heard from- recent reviews said it was a scam. from Nov to present I had received no brass but no charges against my credit card. The gunsmith said there are several "companies" where they have connections to manufacturers and set-up as middlemen- they don't have any inventory and when they receive an order, they order it from the wholesaler and ship it on to the purchaser. So it may not have been a scam but I doubt that they'd send the brass on to me at the old price. As a safety measure the credit card was cancelled and replaced by the bank.

I bought 100 Bertram brass for my 404J just a couple weeks ago. They are quite proud of them. Almost the same price as brass for a 50 BMG.
