Wanted 400/350 (350 Rigby No 2) Dies

Hi All,

The title says it all.

I'm chasing dies for 400/350 AKA 350 Rigby No 2 AKA .400/350 Rigby N.E.

CH4D are saying maybe 12 months before they expect to have some.

Have tried all their dealers that I can find.

Hope someone here may have a set, or have a lead etc.

@Tintin I see that you have been at this for awhile.........and since your original post I have kept my eyes open .....in actual fact, most people are unaware of this cartridge....confusing it with the 350 Rigby Magnum. I have had a few discussions about this with otherwise knowledgeable traders. I can't even verify when this round was introduced, although Taylor, and Barnes list different dates, some as early as 1896. Custom might be your only option..........still looking though..........FWB

The wait time with CH4D for dies will teach me patience and 'the serenity to accept the things I cannot change'

I spoke to Roger at https://www.northernshooterssupplies.com.au about two weeks ago and he mentioned he had a set. CH4D I believe.

He will post out of Australia.

Thanks - I’m waiting on Roger to get back to me on dies. He has 350 mag but not 400/350.

I posted a while back looking for a set to. The 400/350 and 400/350 #2 are the same set of dies. the 350 Mag is for a rimless round that is different.

I am planning on having Hornaday make a set with FL and Neck sizing dies for my rigby. CH4D is a year out on their dies for backorder. Did your rifle come with the Rigby case? I am also working on tracking down a case to rehab or build one from scratch.
