I have good Francotte 12g SxS, Knock About model with the VL&D New York stamp on the barrel. Comes with the vintage Red Head mutton leg case. She's a hunting gun and put food on someone's table! I can send video of me shooting it, if you want more pics let me know. Asking $850 obo shipped for gun and case. Willing to do some trading too. Have a Francotte Le Petit Elite 12g listed too.

26" Barrels
14 1/2" LOP
2 5/8 chambers stamped but measures 2 3/4 (lengthened most likely)
choked M/F

No problem Per...

My name is Michael Murphy. I live in Clovis California. I am 60'ish. married with two children, Jackson 16 and Alex(andra) 12. Wife's name is Amy. Our a anniversary is tomorrow May 17. We had a great wedding on a paddle wheel boat in San Francisco bay. She is younger than me, but I forgive her for that, for the most part. I found this site looking for a hunting rifle for my son, as a gift, and came across this ad. I have an affinity for some older or historical guns, accurate guns, Belgium Browning's, quality built guns and accurate guns. Did I mention accurate guns? And I am looking for a well-made rifle in the .270 but perhaps 30.06 caliber, again, for my son, who wants an American made gun, but I am trying bring a Sako into the mix, but I know for a first rifle he will not accept one.

My son will ultimately make his own informed decision, after I inform him of his choices, but he is very "old school," likes older cars and things, and wants wood on his gun. It will likely be a pre 90's Rem 700, Pre 60's Win 70, or a Weatherby.

I am brand new to this site and registered in order to be able to discuss products that are for sale. I do not intent to post or contribute a lot so sorry, won't be able to meet your criteria in that regard. Truthfully, I do not have much to contribute to a group of large caliber hunters who make trips to Africa. Out of my price range and experiential field. My hunting is primarily bird hunting but, in my area they have all but disappeared. In order to share with my son what I grew up with, am moving more into deer, elk hunting etc.

I am a builder, Forex trader and a self-educated scholar in disease/health, organic (founding) law and a few other things of personal interest...

My collection of guns is not large or even satisfying. Through unfortunate circumstances, I lost most of the guns my father had reluctantly (tried to avoid) handed down to me. I believe in passing guns down and I don't believe in selling guns, but will admit in my desire to build back a collection I acquired a few I would part with in exchange for something I like more, but nothing I would admit to owning on this site.

I reload and love to fish. I mostly fish for bass, trout and salmon in my area, but have fished British Columbia and Alaska. I can catch fish.

My "Church" is fishing a mountain stream for trout. I love the mountains. The coast is for the kids.

All of this is true and honest. Hope this helps.

I read an older thread that mentioned you having some 9.3x64 brass. Do you still have some? I am looking for 100 pcs, maybe 200.
