that one has way too high a price ... here is what mine sold for at RIA - $881 which included the 22.5% buyers premium .. actual hammer was $725

I agree that the guy is proud of his. That's the highest price I've ever seen for a Savage Safari Express.

About a year ago I thought about buying a 300 winnie I saw to match my 458, but I didn't and I would've never thought there were 425's even manufactured by Savage, but you shed some light on that, which is pretty cool. I sure hope you find one.

Well, I found a guy on a different forum that said he has one ... I offered him $5,000 for it ... he declined, so ..... I suspect he really didn't have one after all.
