If anyone has any leads on a nice zg47 I would really appreciate it. The best way to get in touch with me is by PM.

Thank you

Good luck! Not an easy find. When you do find one that's in decent shape, expect to pay over $1500 US.

Can't understand why they are so hard to come by in the U.S. Here in Canada they are fairly common. I sold the one I had 6 months ago and decided to get another one. Lot's to choose from around here.

Understand or not, they are scare here. Apparently at some point a bunch were imported into CN, and only a few trickled into here. I too would like one but the scarcity and prices make it problematic.

Mine is 30-06 and is my favourite rifle. Zg47’s and 21/22’s and type B mausers are non existent here in the UK as they were sold to London gunsmiths to butcher and put their own spin on before retailing.

There seems to be a number of ZG-47 actions available in Military guise on Gunbroker. A trip to your favorite gunsmith after the purchase can get you just about any caliber you'd like. From time to time sporterized versions are available.

I have (3) ZG47 actions, if you want to build something I may let one go

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
