I see this floating around from time to time. Anyone have an engraved mauser floor plate they are interested in selling? Not the hinged style, just the push-button, fall out type.

probably not what youre looking for... but this guy is selling new (the photos dont look it, but they are) parker hale floor plates for the M98 mauser.. they are hinged.. and are cast, not engraved.. but are pretty nice and decorative (have a rams head on them and some other art work).. they are aluminum which also may not be something you are interested in..

I've got one on one of my rifles though, and think it looks extremely nice for the price he is asking.. especially after they get hit with a little bit of duracoat or cerakote (looks better than the black anodizing on the aluminum that they come with)..

You got a new project going?

It has a $700 bottom metal on it already and its glass and pilar bedded. Don't need new bottom metal. Looking for an engraved mauser floorplate for embellishment.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
