Want To Buy 500 Jeffery, 500 A Square Or .577 Tyrannosaur

Why the need then for "confirmation"?

Spend the money on more buff or elephant...

Best reply in this thread..

you already own big, heavy recoiling rifles that are capable of killing anything on the planet effectively..

Take the money you would have spent on a new 500 or 600 class rifle, and buy an additional buffalo/elephant/hippo/whatever...

Spend the money on memories.. not on duplications of the same killing capacity of a rifle..

Buy what you want and what makes you happy. I have a .470 NE, a .500 Jeffery, 2 .458 Lotts, a .416 Taylor, a .416 RM, and .470 Capstick, and I have a .404 Jeffery being built, and looking to build a .475 A&M Mag. I will never use them all, but it’s what I want. Not sure why people are asking you why you want them or trying to dissuade you. Hell, get them all.

Of the three you listed, I would go with .500 Jeffery. I have one in CZ 550 and have kicked around the idea of selling it. In my limited experience, I think dies and brass would be easier to get for the .500 Jeffery.

whatever you decide, shoot it and have fun with it.

You have any brass to sell. For 500 jeffery.

Can use brass from 460 weatherby to make 500 A Square ammo. Have 6 rounds of loaded ammo with 570 grain soft points for the 500 A Square. Would go with the gun.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
