Good Evening,

I am looking for all things that will help me to be able to fire a .450 Dakota more often. I need reloading gear, components, loaded ammo, etc. Please message me if you have any items that you are willing to part with or are able to connect me with a resource. Hendershots has the ammo listed on their site, but they aren't currently producing any in this caliber.

Regards,

For all the aggravation, why not send your Dakota back to Parkwest and have them ream the chamber for 450 Rigby? Smooth sailing moving forward thereafter.

The Dakota is .560" at the base of the shoulder, the Rigby is only .539.

The base of the Rigby is a bit larger...so seems like once you have either, you are stuck without setting the barrel back or getting a new barrel.

I would be more likely to buy another rifle in .450 Rigby than to have mine converted. Coincidentally, I do have a nice supply of .450 Rigby ammo that I recently bought from a member of this group.
