WAIST/BUTT/FANNY PACK

Lint from a clothes dryer is great fire starter too. Save a bunch and put it in a ziplock bag. Also, no explanation needed when your wife or hunting buddies asks about what you are taking in your pack.
Rather than use dryer lint, use vaseline soaked cotton balls. The burn time is betweem 5 - 8 minutes per cotton ball, they are a bit messy to make but they work better than plane dryer lint.

I dont go as far as a fanny pack, but an extra molle punch or 2 on the gun belt goes a long way without being overweight.

Yep.

I still use dryer lint.. mostly because its readily available... a few days before a hunt, I just go pull whatever I need, soak it, and throw it in a ziplock..

but back in the day I often used cotton balls..

the old military trioxane "heat tabs" are great too if you can find them at a surplus store on the cheap.. Ive seen places trying to get stupid amounts of money for them.. but I have also caught them for $1 a bar a few times.. when that happens I grab as many as I can... they keep for years.. are compact, lightweight, etc.. and will light and stay lit under the worst conditions..

Fanny pack......sounds too feminin.....

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
