I admit to being a classicist where safari is concerned - guns, calibers, etc. In my day, Willis & Geiger ruled the quality ranks where safari clothing was concerned. To that end, I collected safari shirts made with their finest materials, most notably their linen and gabardine cotton. At that time, I was acquiring stock as part of a strategy to design and produce safari gear that would work without compromise. I never carried through with the mission, so these items are up for sale. This lot also contains casual wear by Willis & Geiger (embroidered arm logo pictured) and some contemporary Orvis shooting shirts and one Nautica sporting shirt. All 11 items are sized XL and in washed as new condition. Satisfaction guaranteed. Here is the tally:

2 Willis & Geiger linen long sleeve safari shirts.
3 Willis & Geiger gabardine cotton long sleeve safari shits.
2 Orvis shooting shirts (note: these are on the heavier side and strike me as more suitable for upland gunning).
1 Willis & Geiger long sleeve cotton knit polo shirt (white).
1 Willis & Geiger long sleeve cotton crew neck light sweatshirt (cream).
1 Willis & Geiger long sleeve cotton knit turtleneck sweater.
1 Nautica gabardine cotton pullover fishing shirt.
Total price shipped to the lower 48 (shipping included): $285 (PayPal, Venmo).

Thank you and good hunting days ahead.

I like the truck! Totally W&G original. When Land's End bought the brand and did virtually nothing with it I could not help to wonder what they had intended to do with it in the first place. Avedon & Colby (in business today at https://avedoncolby.com ) were among the team of original W&G designers. They also designed many items for other iconic brands. So, they are carrying on the tradition of quality. Thanks and take care.

I’m your guy on these. I usually leave my shirts for the guys in Africa after we’re done. They will love these! Well, the XL guys will. :-)

Sale Pending. Thanks to all who inquired.

ITEMS are SOLD. Thank you.

Look what happened to Eddie Bauer - at the original store in downtown Seattle, one could buy a fine gun, fly rod, and even a canoe, not to mention serious down expedition clothing.

Abercrombie & Fitch had even a more tragic demise. :)
