Anybody know anything about these? I am considering it for slugs mainly but possibly Buckshot too for close in hogs...Any info is appreciated..
Specs are12ga 3" magnum and 23" Cylinder Bore barrels..7pds and double triggers...kinda a poor man's double! I have alot of heavy custom slugs plus factory Brenneke Magnum Crush plus even Dixie Tre-Ball!
I like the factory sights and the barrel lengths alot..may need a pad later...Decent Walnut too

I am so tempted guys!
Just wondering where this is made and is it a good quality ? More photos of it on Gunbroker ...I have a Benelli Auto w/18" Rifled Barrel that does the job well thats light and fast and 8 shots too...
But this just reminds me of my Big Bore Doubles and would be neato!

A picture of the complete proof marks would be a big help.

This will be a very good shotgun for shooting Brenneke Black Magic slugs. Due to the absence of any form of choke and the short length of the barrels, buckshot patterns will be incredibly open. Expect maximum spread at ten meters. Federal Premium 3 Inch Magnum copper plated OOO Buck is excellent medicine for close up work on wild boars in the thick stuff.

If you haven’t gotten it yet, you should.
You can ignore the rear sight & use it for birds too!

I think you will find it is a Luciano Rota made in Brescia Italy of Vickers Steel ?

Were imported by Tristar at one time ?

Cool gun would like one myself .

I did find another one for sale in Europe if that can be imported easier to the UK @Scrumbag $980 Euros so a little more but maybe in even better condition ?

HI all, here is a Short update on our America trip, I currently in Houston and have 2 more meetings here before movings North toward Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, and from there I will head to Colorado and Idaho,I have been met with great hospitality and friendship, and have met several new and old clients and we are going to book the rest of 2025 season quick and have several dates booked for 2026!
That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
