If you want to sacrifice another molar on your bear, any dental technician can saw through a molar vertically, polish the sawn surface with chalk and you can research the age yourself, like the annual rings on a tree, if you are interested.
I once did this in parallel with my black bear and wildlife biologists and dental technicians came to the same conclusion
