Yes I did watch him grow up but didnt really notice him until he was about 4. Last year I knew he was 5 and made myself hold off another year. I am glad I did because although we were in a drought he grew tremendously the last year. This just shows that deer need to get to a ripe old age to be real trophies. Most deer are shot at 2-3 years old.Definitely still amazing, and I very much respect the difference between high fence and pen raised, just curious. Awesome you were able to let and watch him grow to his prime on your own land!
