USA: Best Hunt Ever

I've hunted in a few countries and killed a pile of animals but I had the best hunt of my life the other day and didn't kill a thing. Watching my son kill his first deer was the highlight of any hunting I've done. He made a perfect quartering away shot hitting the top of the heart. He was using a 7mm-08 with a 120gr Hornady SST.

I have been hunting with my son for decades now. Deer, Prairie Dogs, Squirrel, Dove, etc. Great times. We are prepping now for our annual deer hunting trip. Aways a good time. Trying to talk him into going on Safari with us next year but getting that much time off at his young age can be difficult. Good to see you passing on our hunting traditions to your kids.

Oklahoma's youth season gives the kids a chance to get out and rifle hunt before the season starts.
