Baboons do need a cites for export from RSA, the swine going to a USDA facility is confusing. I had raw (d&p) finished warthog and it had to and finished bushpig and finished baboon that didn’t. But regulations and interpretation of regulations change frequently. Your taxidermist and export company should clear this up. The baboon cites permit doesn’t take a lot of work on the hunters side like a leopard or bontebok does.
