I recently bought this sweet rifle, scope, new dies and components. I had Africa, mountain hunts, Alaska and even hogs in mind. I mounted a Kahles 1.5-6x42 scope and bore sighted it and that's as far as I got before finding my dream rifle in .375 H&H! As a result, this one's reluctantly for sale.

Items available:
Sako Black Bear rifle with Leupold 30mm rings... $2100
Kahles Helia 1.5-6x42 scope (no box).................. $750
RCBS dies, only used to size 50 rounds of brass
and seat bullets for three "dummies"................... $60
34 rounds of new Hornady brass......................... $30
49 rounds of new Norma brass (primed)............. $60
49 Swift A-Frame 286g semi-spritzer bullets....... $90

31 Nosler 250g Accubond bullets......................... $25
97 Hornady 286g Interlock bullets........................ $70
50 Hornady ECX 250g bullets (seconds).............. $40
50 Barnes 250g TTSX bullets................................ $55
Total...................................................................... $3370
I will sell this "turn-key package for ..................... $3000 shipped CONUS

I will be in Africa from 7/31-9/5 and would really like to sell everything before I leave so no reasonable offer will be ignored.
I will also be listing elsewhere.

They are neat little rifles...I have one but only shot it on the range...its back where I come from....forgot to have it shipped here when I had some rifles shipped last year....and they not making them anymore....if possible I would keep it if I was you...

I have had a 1.5-6 of the same vintage Zeiss, Swarovski, and Kahles side by side at the same. The Helia is every bit an equal. Which reticle does this one have?

I’m not sure what they call it but it’s the one with 4 heavy bars then the thinner crosshairs. It’s the one I like for low light use.

That would either be a plex or 7A. The only difference being the thinner middle section of crosshairs are a bit wider/taller on the 7A. Both are excellent in the front focal plane. GLWTS!

ALL BULLETS AND BRASS HAVE SOLD!

TO ENCOURAGE SALE ON THE RIFLE, SCOPE AND DIES BEFORE I LEAVE FOR AFRICA, PRICES ARE BEING REDUCED...
Rifle......................... $1950
Scope...................... $700
Dies......................... $60
Remaining package price... $2650 Shipped CONUS

Not in the same sense the Model 70/Mauser actions work. The Sako has their own style of a 3 position safety and a bolt face that largely surrounds and captures the rim of the cartridge and is one of the better options with powerful extraction even though it is classified as a “push feed.”

Regarding Senga Senga. Brad Clemens. Do your research with him. He owes people money…took deposits, no hunt! Two words, for anyone who wants to hire him…..background check. His character shows and this character follows every aspect of his life. Not to be trusted at all!

Hey there Matt - i would love to understand some more about your bringing trophies home from South Africa in your checked luggage. My PH is holding onto a bushbuck euro and flatskin for me - and i am due back in South Africa in just over a week. He does have the export permit provided by the taxidermist for me. When you have a moment - could we go through the EDC Form and App? Looking forward to hearing from you.
