Trophy`s and trophy photos with hunters

The trophy animal`s head/face with the hunter alongside..on the same plane. Eyes are the important part with hunter and animals eyes on the same plane.

They are on the same plane.................just that the animal is up in row 1 and the hunter is back in row 33.

I know what I look like, so a lot of mine are without me in it.

dont see anything wrong with this photo at all....the hunter is close behind not feet away from its butt.....agree when the person is sitting way back, but in a lot of photo positions with a trophy you are going to be behind, to the side slightly back.....etc....etc....etc...

in your opinion this is probably crap as well  .......although larry is touching the rear of the sable.....in which case i think you need to go away and have a think about different poses for trophy photos, as there are lots of different ways to take them where you arent on the same focal plane......:E Shake Head:

If you cant grasp the meaning of the original post I cant help you.

I grasp the meaning of the original post... but.. Im am failing to understand why the positioning of the camera vs the hunter and the animal would make you (and others) angry..

Personally, I dont care if someone is in front of, behind, to the side of, close, or far away.. The picture is for their memory.. not mine.. If it makes them happy.. great... if someone else wants to post it on the internet.. cool....

There are certainly pictures I find inappropriate, or that I think have the potential to be harmful to the industry that I'd prefer people not circulate...

But where someone is seated (or not) pissing people off?

Who really cares?

I think there are far bigger concerns in the international hunting community than this that need to be worried about..

View attachment 172440 Here are a couple places telling how to get a good trophy picture of your animal.
When I went over for my first hunt the only thing I had for about a year was the pictures that I got from my PH and Hunt provider.
I looked at them a bunch and wished I had even more to study my trophy. I was concerned about getting my trophy back so I did some photoshop of what I had.
Here is an example.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
