Trophy Room Pictures

my ph told me that, and to not put them by the fire.somebody here had something else to use, dont remember what.for ivory.

Vaseline works pretty good. Also lasts longer before you have to reapply it...

Got my chair back, that's as been awhile in the making. I got moose, elk and caribou hides tanned years ago for this project. The recliner I got in March and finally got it to Ken at the end of November. Ken came up with the idea of staining the back and ends. Very pleased with the way it turned out.

Lets see your trophy rooms!

There are so many amazing pieces of taxidermy posted on this site almost daily. Now, they all have to end up somewhere!

I would love to see what people do with their stuff, dotted round the house? A trophy room? Any unusual mounts?

Ill kick it off with mine... Probably not much in comparison to a lot on here but I have 2 roe bucks, my trophy's from my first safari, my first English partridge and 2 Fallow buck from this season. Then 3 Muntjac heads and an abnormal roe buck that all need shields for mounting, plus a flat skin Springbok and Impala on the floor.

I'm off to hunt Ibex in Spain in February and if I get a good one I will have it shoulder mounted. The collection is slowly growing!

Very impressive and I really like it.

I posted a few photos earlier of my man cave construction project. Those photos were in the framing phase and now a few recent ones showing some sheet rock. There is 3/4" plywood under the sheet rock. I also had the builder run a 2x6 underneath the plywood on the centerline of the fireplace. The room is 20 ft x 30 ft with a 16 ft ceiling. The lower 8 ft section of walls will feature dark stained wood wainscoting, to give the room a bit of a formal look. The wall on the opposite end of the room from the fireplace, with the entrance from the main part of the house, will have a big screen TV.

Way back when I got my 2014 trophies back I was excited about posting on this thread.
Well we built a new home the last six months and I at least got the basement for my trophy room.
It went from a very full 300 square Ft to 600 square feet.
Still need some things done but this is the beginning. With the recommendations of my wife I built a desk for myself.

Got the addition to the bar done.
A couple low profile stools, built a cabinet to increase the size of the bar, storage and provide a place to put my popcorn popper kind of out of sight.

Can we bring this thread back to life? I am sure there are a lot more rooms that everyone would love to see. I just went through every page. Looking for ideas as my African animals are to arrive literally this week.
