Trophy/reloading/man cave build

When the military brought me to GA, I looked for a house with high ceilings and lots of wall space. This was back in 2013, and I was waiting for my first African mounts to arrive. Last year I received my mounts from my 2022 safari, and they are on the wall. I have a very supporting wife, and every wall in our family room has at least one mount. I don't want to push my luck, but I believe this is it for me. I will either do euro mounts, and pictures, or end up building a mancave but I would rather use the money for more hunts.

I'm still following with high interest, and @CBeck office has me scratching my head on future plans. BTW, all you guys are bad influence.

More progress!

First coat of paint on the ceiling. Walls will get a coat of lacquer this weekend.

that wood is beautiful. would you mind sharing where you sourced it if you purchased from a retailer, etc.? I've never considered doing a black ceiling, but that really makes everything pop.

More done today. 2nd coat on the ceiling. Both doors painted. Door to cover the sump pump area finished.
