I picked this up in a packaged deal. It was described to me “as new”, but came without a box or papers. I thought about putting it on an EDC, pistol but decided to go a different route. I figured one of you double-rifle fellas might like it for your Chapuis or Heym

Includes the red dot and bottom sealing plate as pictured, plus a rubber slip cover and a whole bunch of various mounting screws.

MSRP is $700+
but you can find them brand new for around $550 before tax and shipping…
Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable Red Dot Sight 1x, 6.5 MOA Red Dot, No Mount, Black, RM07-C-700679

Let’s do this one for $425 shipped.
US addresses only as it is export restricted.

Reduced to $400

I'd rather this go to an AH'er, but if not I can cross post elsewhere.

Update:
It has been brought to my attention that this is not an authentic Trijicon RMR.
This is a very close looking clone, but it’s not real. Counterfeit.

It looks like and seems to perform like the real thing, but “looks like” and “seems to” aren’t words that belong on any DG rifle or duty weapon.

Should still work for a turkey gun or a range toy, but with its illegitimate provenance I wouldn’t use it for anything important.

I’m going to throw this on eBay and see if the airsoft LARPing crowd wants it.

Stay vigilant out there, gentlemen.

Holy smokes. Didn’t know these were ever counterfeited.
Yes. I got burned on a Trijicon Acog and a Eotech 512. Both counterfeit. Also there seems to be a recent influx of Leupold Mark 4s showing up that are not real.
A call to the manufacturer with serials when you can will save a big headache and money.

Thanks for the tips guys. I wasn’t in the market for one of these really but it’s great to know this is a risk. I appreciate the heads up very much.

Please share how to tell the difference.
On this example there are a few things that show it’s not genuine. Biggest and easiest to spot are the windage and elevation screws are the wrong color, they should be black. Also on this example.

Letters of Made in the USA are misaligned.
The logo is missing its trademark.
The rubber is wrong on the brightness buttons.
It should say the patent or list the patent number, not say patent pending on a type 2 RMR.

Unfortunately pretty much any optic that’s in common military are LEO use is copied like this. There is a range in the quality of these “replicas” and some will be much closer in appearance to the real thing than others.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
