Too late to book at DSC?

super easy for Namibia and if you can book right through no SA paperwork. I fly out of jfk and my bags were checked through to Namibia. You can print out forms for gun permits have them all filled out so they just check guns and stamp your paper work.

My two cents: For the first time, say a one or two week trip, I would not combine a hunt with side trips to tourist spots. I tell my prospects, hunting Africa is not like being in the states so don't even think along those lines. Flexibility is the key and itineraries don't always go as planned and game lists don't always get filled. As far as Namibia, there are flights to bypass Joburg and their firearm import paperwork. Deal with a reputable outfitter (plenty on this website) and have all your ducks in a row before leaving. Good Luck on your hunt and don't forget "nobody goes just once". :D

Dear Travis2282
If you are restricted to a specific time period whereby you are limited on dates, then our recommendation is to make a provisional booking to block out your preferred dates under no obligation until you made up your mind to have peace of mind. This way, you then reserve (pencil in) your preferred dates.
In the event you are not restricted on specific dates, then you have an open calendar - then you could choose from the available dates your outfitter has available.
For peace of mind: visit your outfitter at the show / convention that you plan to visit, that is the reason they make themselves available.
As outfitters, we appreciate the time that you take to "talk to us". It is important to have peace of heart on your selection of outfitter since you have to spend 5 or 7 or 10 or 14 days with such a person.
The most important thing is: get peace of mind BEFORE taking the final decision.
Talk to others that is reflected on the reference list. Talk to others that is NOT reflected on the reference list. Talk to others that have hunted recently with the outfitter.
Most of all: ENJOY your planning process.
Best of luck with your decision.

We went to the Harrisburg Sportman's Show in February of '17 and most outfitters had open dates for the same year. The only problem I could see was trying to line up rifle permits, airline tix and other preparations with short lead times.

So I have finally saved my pennies and am ready to book my first trip to Africa. I have an idea of who I would like to book with but want to meet and talk in person before doing so. I will go to DSC again this year and book at the show, but I wonder is Jan too late to book a trip for the 18 season in Namibia?

WHAT CAN I DO TO RECOVER MY STOLEN BITCOIN? CONSULT THE HACK ANGELS

I couldn't believe my eyes when my 2.4 million dollars was recovered. I’m truly grateful for their service and I feel it is right that I put this out here for anyone who might require their services.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
