She s in a meeting trying to figure out how to get Biden to resign and hand her the keys to the country so she can still be the first woman to be president. Or she has crawled in a bottle of wine and won’t emerge until it’s time to move out of the Naval Observatory.

Well, pleasant surprise this morning. Although, my wife didn’t have to wake me up at 4am to tell me .

Quite a bit of the population doesn't care one way or another. Hence, the lower voter turnout compared to a lot of other countries. We had a record turnout in 2020, and it was 67% a lot lower than other countries.

2020 turnout in the U.S. was almost 71%. Lower than some developed countries and higher than others (e.g. Israel, UK, Italy, Ireland, most of eastern Europe, etc.). I don't think the U.S. populace is particularly apathetic. I sometimes wish it were moreso; everything wasn't so partisan when people didn't think their lives turned on which party had the White House, which they lives generally don't when you step back and take a breath.
