Do outfitters and game farmers have a typical time of the year when they offer cull hunts? For example, the end of the season when they have a few tags left or the beginning of the season to weed out less desirable animals?
My brother-in-law is a Delta retiree and has some "buddy passes" that must be purchased by Wednesday or they expire. They would be good for a year. Even though you have to fly standby, the cost to Johannesburg would be about $500 RT and you could very well end up being seated in Delta One. I thought if I was to fly without a rifle and have all my gear in my carry-on, a cull hunt could work out just fine.
I think the only requirement is that I'd have to be back on the plane home by September 13th. I will need to confirm that.
I was thinking Limpopo as I wouldn't need to take another flight as with the Eastern Cape.
(I got this in Hunting Reports by mistake. I meant for it to go in Hunting Africa).
