I am a Tikka guy and own 3. Like others have said, for the money they cannot be beat. I have 2 Tikka T3 Lite SS, one in .30-06 and one in 6.5 x 55 SE. My newest edition is a Tikka T3X Lite SS in .243 Winchester. All of them are shooters at 1 MOA or less, but the damn .243 Winchester is giving me the fits!!!!!!!! What ever you choose, make sure it fits YOU! If it fits YOU, then it will shoot well for YOU! Good luck and stay safe!
.30-06 with foam filled stock, Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40mm, and limb saver:
The 240 gr Woodleigh PPRN heavy load:
The 165 gr Hornady SST medium load (I also have a Woodleigh 165 gr PPRN load and Hornady 165 gr IB load):
7mm and 300wm are great calibers but what most people don't get is they require a 26" barrel to get max benefit. Most hunting barrels are 24" which extracts a huge penalty from the 7mm, turns it into a louder harder kicking 270. You will be happy with the Tikka in 3006. If you bought the light invest in a limbsaver, if your length of pull is long like mine just put a slipon limbsaver over the factory and gain an inch of pull and softer recoil.
