Same as above, big fan of N frame Smiths!

Nice!

Me too, have a few. 24, 26-1, 58, 629. Recently sold a pre 27 to offset two Colt .357 purchases.

Love the M28 6”. Was a favorite of mine.

An original recessed cylinder Model 27 may be the finest revolver ever made.

Fortunately I own a M 27 with 3.5 inch barrel bought new in 1973. Carried it daily for about 14 months. In recent years mainly gets used on snakes on our lease prior to the opening of hunting season.

Prior to the shift to semi-autos the service firearm of the Wa St Patrol was a Model 28 357. a lot of troopers figured they were getting the short end of that trade.

thanks for the kind words about older S&W revolvers. two early 70,s .44 mag 29,s.

Congrats on 5he new additions!

Beautiful guns, congrats !

Good for you. I like the older models as well with the screwed in and pinned barrels.

The price paid for it in 1973 likely wouldn't cover the sale tax on it today. When they are in good shape, they bring a super premium.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
