these pictures are new to me, and i want to share it with those of you who also has'nt seen them yet

These amazing pictures were taken in Kenya 's Masai Mara in October last year,
"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,'
'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together.
'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away.
But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'."

These extraordinary scenes followed:

afterwards the cheetahs just calmly walked away and the small impala were re-united with his mother

I've seen those, and the last picture is so very moving. Not only has the young Impala rested it's head into the Cheetahs, but the Cheetah is actually rubbing on the head of its intended - perhaps future? - prey. Thanks for posting them!

John.

Amazing! I guess that the brothers weren't hungry as you say. Thanks for sharing observe.

Stone in the bush here guys, I only know two laws of the Wild, Survival of the fitest and Kill or be killed.

100% correct Jaco...you get the gold star for today!

I just think those Cheetah were moffies!!!!! They probably still have milk running out the corners of their mouths!

well said! LOL !

;) :D

I would have to add our house cat likes to play with its food and only kills it when ready to eat. He also will play and rub his head on the intended prey, lick it and so on.

kind of like real fresh food...

Remind me if I ever meet your cat that if he starts doing the cat thing where they start rubbing their head and shoulders against your leg and purring that it's time to run away!
