Just thought I'd make a post about this considering I haven't seen anyone talk about the book, despite it being out for a long while now. Anyways, the book starts from post-WW2 Beuchananland all the way up to modern Botswana excluding the Ian Khama moratorium years. It's a very different read from others I'm used and it took a while for me to appreciate the writing style. It's much more of a recollection of each hunters' experiences rather than a detailed history of the hunting industry in Botswana. The most impressive specimens hunted in the photos are by far the lions. Huge bodies and manes and very large paws. That's about all I've got to say and I hope some of you may enjoy the images and apologies in advance if they're too large or veritcal. I had to use my phone to take photos which I, in turn, sent to my Gmail and it's generally awkward to use.

Saw a good looking knife you posted a pic of with the watermelon. Can I ask the make? Looks like you hunted with Guav Johnson? We overlapped in the Save once. Would like to hunt with him one day..
